Microgrants

INTRODUCTION
The purpose of the C-CUE Microgrants Program is to support staff and faculty of member
institutions for technology related professional development opportunities. Awards of up to
$1,000 are made on a rolling basis. Total awards will be capped at $3,000 per fiscal year.

ELIGIBILITY
The C-CUE Microgrants Program awards grants to individuals actively employed by member
institutions in good standing.
Individuals may request funds for training or for attendance at a conference or other
professional activity that will advance the individual’s career goals, or that would provide
valuable information for the individual’s institution.
Individuals will be required to prepare and present a presentation related to the training or
conference event at the C-CUE meeting workshop following their grant funded event.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applicants are required to complete and submit a Microgrant application. The proposal must
provide detailed information about the need for the funding, goals and outcomes and a budget.


Please submit one letter of support from your institutional leadership as well as a current
resume. These items should be emailed to ccue-governingboard@googlegroups.com.
Should the proposal be reviewed favorably, a memorandum of agreement which would provide
clarification or more information about the grant funding may be requested.

REVIEW PROCESS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA
Submissions will be reviewed by designated representatives of the C-CUE organization.
Applicants will be contacted if further information is needed. Applications will be evaluated on
the ability of the development opportunity to significantly impact their instruction, business
processes or procedures, or support capabilities.

EVALUATION AND FOLLOWUP
Individuals will be notified within one month of application submission. Individuals who receive
awards will be required to prepare a presentation related to the training or conference event at
the C-CUE meeting workshop following their grant funded event.
